Staging and support for multi-day shoots in off-grid locations, with full infrastructure built for backcountry Alaska.

Basecamp & Remote Production Operations in Alaska

Your Set. 100 Miles From the Nearest Road.

Many of Alaska's most cinematic locations are completely off-grid. No roads, no power, no cell service, no shelter. Shooting in these environments requires a level of logistical planning and operational self-sufficiency that most production companies have never had to consider.

We build and operate remote basecamps that give your crew everything they need to work safely, comfortably, and productively — no matter how far from civilization the creative takes you.

Basecamp Infrastructure

Power
Portable generator systems sized to your production's electrical demands. Lighting, camera charging, village power for crew tents, heating — all managed and maintained throughout the shoot.

Communications
Satellite phone and satellite internet systems for production communication, daily call sheets, file transfers, and emergency contact with the outside world.

Weather Monitoring
Real-time weather station data, NOAA coordination, and local knowledge-based forecasting. Alaska weather changes fast and violently. We monitor conditions continuously and advise on shoot/no-shoot calls.

Shelter & Crew Comfort
Expedition-grade tents, warming shelters, field kitchens, and sanitation facilities. We keep your crew warm, fed, and rested so they can perform at the highest level.

Wilderness Safety

Certified Safety Coordinators
Bear guards, glacier safety technicians, marine safety officers, avalanche specialists, and wilderness first responders embedded directly into your production team.

Risk Management Planning
Detailed safety plans, emergency evacuation procedures, and medical response protocols developed during pre-production and reviewed with all crew before the shoot begins.

Aircraft on Standby
For remote glacier, mountain, and coastal shoots, we maintain helicopter or bush plane availability for emergency evacuation and crew rotation.

Where We Operate Remote Basecamps

Glaciers and icefields throughout the state. Coastal inlets and fjords accessible only by boat or floatplane. High-altitude mountain camps. Arctic tundra locations. River systems and lake shores deep in the backcountry.
